instead of building system against the spam these spammer should be stopped...but i guess these big security companies wont like it.. its their business...
For those interested in security and computer forensics check out the agenda for the 2008 HTCIA International Conference sheduled for October 20-22, 2008, Atlantic City's Bally's Hotel and Casino. Of particular note: WiFi investigations, network forensics, cell phone forensics, Internet ISP Investigation; virtualization on digital forensics, analysis of physical memory, response for Linux systems; Botnets and maleware and live system forensics. Check out the site at http://www.htciaconference.org/index.shtml.
I hope I'm in the right place. That's what's been holding me up on seeking help. I have two questions actually. One concerns Gmails zero tolerance for spam. I do visit sites, I do use my gmail address and very important, I do try to make sure that I don't leave any positive clicks on them as in agreeing to anything. But this week I got hit with over 100 spam mailings. I don't know where to go to learn how to set/change my security settings. Second concern is about the IP address. I thought each computer had it's own IP address, if so, why do I show different IP addresss when I'm always using the same computer?
